Signature Sips: Pina Colada Popsicles and Wine Slushies

We all love a good cocktail, but did you know how easy it is to turn your favorite cocktail into a frozen treat?

This week, we are showing you how to make piña colada popsicles AND strawberry peach wine slushies. Double. Whammy. Up first, the piña colada popsicle!

Ingredients

Piña colada popsicle ingredients

For the piña colada popsicles you will need:

  • White rum
  • Coconut milk
  • Lime
  • Pineapple
  • Coconut
  • Popsicle molds

Step one: Blend

Blend together all of your piña colada ingredients

Place four ounces of rum, one can of coconut milk, the juice of one lime, 3 cups of cubed pineapple, and a half cup of shredded coconut in a blender with ice, and blend. Are you listening to The Pina Colada Song? You should be.

Step two: pour and freeze

Now, pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze for at least three hours. You can add extra slices of lime or coconut in this step. It really does make the final result look a lot prettier.

Step three: enjoy!

That’s it! Your piña colada popsicles are ready for a day by the pool. Check out how our popsicle molds even have straws for when these guys get melty. As if we’d let them linger that long. #hilarious

Now that you’ve got some delicious boozy popsicles, we think you could also use a wine slushie. After all, you have two hands and it’s still summer. Moving right along to the strawberry peach wine slushie…

Ingredients

For the slushie, you will need:

  • Moscato wine
  • Strawberries
  • Peaches
  • Ice

Step one: blend

Blend up those wine slushie ingredients

Add a bottle of moscato, a cup of strawberries, and a cup of peaches into a blender with ice and blend. If you don’t have access to fresh fruit, you can totally use a bag of frozen fruit. We’re not judging.

Step two: pour

Once combined, pour these frosty adult smoothies into a glass and enjoy. We layered ours with some of the leftover piña colada (before we froze it) to get this pretty picture. Feel free to experiment and blend yours too.

Cheers – happy sipping!
