Whether you celebrate Easter or are just excited about the return of pastels for spring, this fun little DIY project will help get you in the spirit! In just a few short minutes, we’re going to turn your ordinary plastic $.99 eggs into a cute, colorful planters that your succulents (and all of your friends and family) will love. #PinterestWin
What you’ll need:
- Six (6) large plastic Easter Eggs
- Six (6) flat wooden disks or tiles
- Gold and Silver paint pens
- Gorilla Glue
- Variety of succulents
Now that you’ve got your supplies, let’s get started!
Crack your eggs open. Using the paint pens, line the rim of each egg in the color of your choice.
Take the disks and color them to match the rim of your eggs.
Place a pea-sized amount of glue on each disk, and carefully place the egg shell on top. Let dry for 2-3 hours.
Once dry, you’re ready to plant!
Remove your succulents from their current containers and carefully place into the egg shells.
Take some awesome photos and show off by posting them everywhere (we won’t judge).
